Twelfth Annual Meeting

Shenandoah University, Winchester, Virginia

Friday and Saturday, March 21–22, 2014

TRAVEL AND LOCAL ARRANGEMENTS

On behalf of Shenandoah Conservatory, I'm excited to welcome you to Winchester for the 2014 Annual Meeting of the Music Theory Society of the Mid-Atlantic. Below is some information that might be useful in planning your visit.

Travel
Winchester lies at the northern edge of the scenic Shenandoah Valley, 70 miles west of Washington, DC. It is a reasonable drive from all the institutions in the Mid-Atlantic region. For those flying to the conference, Washington-Dulles is the nearest airport (1hr). There is no public transportation from Dulles to Winchester. I will try to arrange for transportation for those flying to the conference, either by coordinating rental cars among conferees or by hiring Shenandoah University students to drive to Dulles. Please let me know as soon as possible if you're planning on renting a car or will need a ride.
